Kate has reworked her iconic Handkerchief Top using fabric from Practice Studio’s collaboration with Kazuyo Kashiwagi and specialist Japanese weavers Takumi no Yume. Lighter than air and made from 100% cotton, it features soft and subtle textures.
Each piece in this series is completely unique in terms of pattern placement and the item you receive may vary from the image displayed.
The Handkerchief Top is a celebration of Kate’s textile-focused design process and playful manipulation of shapes. Derived from two simple squares of fabric and undulating lines of elastic, this top moulds to the body whilst simultaneously reacting against it to create a unique silhouette.
As a versatile, lightweight top it’s comfortable to wear in the summer or can be layered over a skivvy for cooler temperatures. It can be worn with either side at the front.
