The Value Project tracks the perceived value of clothing over time and interrogates how we can reduce waste through the design process.
We asked designers to find a garment in an op shop that still had its original retail price tag attached (ie item had been discarded without ever being worn). Each designer then reworked their piece with the intention to create something more unique/ appealing. The final valuation of each garment will be determined by customers via a live online & in-store auction on 04/08/23.
